Numerous houses of different ages, recreated identically, with a pleasant wooded route to discover them, program rich in activities, festive events, discovery workshops for all ages. Menhir in Devonian sandstone (same type as Fresnicourt-le-Dolmen) erected by the public during the reopening festivities of the 2022 season. There are often costumed reconstructions which delight young and old (hoplites, Vikings, Celts, Romans, etc.). .). Introduction to ceramics, glass beads, casting and minting of coins, basketry, pottery, Roman oil lamps... to visit and revisit, look at the program of activities and events on the Asnapio Archaeological Park website
Very nice visit and lots of activities for children during the opening with the Roman theme. Very cool animations! A beautiful afternoon!
Visited during a special Romans weekend. In the tents warmed by a campfire, the Romans rested, with their traditional outfits and sandals. Before showing us the combat formations with the shields.
5th per adult and free for children.
A very pleasant space where we go back in time from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages with many very well reconstructed life-size buildings (see photos), an aromatic garden and old pollarded willows. There are often activities with stories, workshops for children...otherwise be careful outside school holidays it is only open on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the possibility of a guided tour and the second Sunday of the month (free ) generally with festivities. Next festive Sundays on May 8, Merovingian destinies, Sunday June 12, brief history of weapons, and Sunday July 10 "sing, dance, kiss whoever you want". Possibility of group visit (from 5 to 30 people) during the week outside this schedule outside school holidays for 40 euros for approximately one hour. During summer holidays and school holidays open Tuesday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Just opposite pretty pastures with willows and by taking the footbridge you are five minutes from the LAM museum and also very close to Lac du Héron where the hawthorns are starting to bloom!
